Girls Weekend & Date Night Adventures

Charleston girls weekend - Pardoned Imperfection

Remember when I said my blog would be dedicated to all things makeup, fashion and life in general? Well, this post is a little bit of everything!

I spent last weekend in Charleston with my best friends – it was my first visit to this cute little town, and it did not disappoint! We stayed in a quaint Airbnb house just minutes from downtown. The six of us had to share one bathroom for the long weekend, and by some miracle we made it work just fine. It’s the little victories, people!

My friend Haley is getting married two weeks after I am, so we decided to have a joint Bachelorette weekend – we have virtually the same bridal party, so it was the perfect opportunity for a fun girls trip (missed you, sisters)! Our friends are incredible and made the weekend so special and fun for both of us. A fancy rooftop dinner at The Watch, a (very, very hot) beautiful day at the beach, brunch at the adorable High Cotton and late-night ghost tours had us wishing we never had to leave. We had the best time, and I can’t wait to go back!

Fast forward to this weekend, which I spent with my fiancé Brandon – yesterday was the official three month mark before our wedding day (oh my gosh!), so we decided to have a fun date night in Roswell. If you’ve never been to downtown Roswell or Alpharetta, you have to go. Thank me later!

First, we ate dinner at Your Pie, about five minutes from downtown. Think Subway or Chipotle for pizza – you pick your crust, sauce, and every topping you could ever want, and they assemble the pizza for you and cook it in a huge brick oven. The whole process takes only a few minutes, and the pizza is so good. Check it out if you’re in the area!

My cheese pizza (I’m so basic). Ricotta, feta, mozzarella, olive oil and garlic – AMAZING.

Once we were full of pizza, we headed to downtown Roswell to do some shopping and exploring – the cute scenery made the perfect backdrop for some “outfit of the night” pictures.

Husband-to-be! (Yes, he hated every minute of being my model, but he’s such a trooper. Do it for the blog!)

And, of course, I can’t do a post without mentioning my date night makeup. I went with some dramatic winged liner and lots of bronzer and highlight – full details below!
